Fusion Square Garden's videoclip “Guet dases di git” (Good that you're here) speaks the language of marionettes. The story is set in the room of a man who is tired of life and to whom music is the only hope which is left. After another day of work void of inspiration, he sits around at home – until he listens to his records at night. With the music, he and all the objects in the room loose their gravitity and float through the room as if having no weight. The house itself floats in the clouds, and the man to the moon and the stars.

The clip has been produced by Thomas Kaufmann (Switzerland) and Eloy Machado (Brazil) in Rio de Janeiro. The idea of the floating house is based on a dream of Thomas Kaufmann. The team could persuade Mauro R. Rodriguez, who is a well-known “bonecero” to create and manipulate the marionettes. A team of seven built the set, which is true to scale for the marionettes sized 80 cm, with much love for small details. The production followed a strict concept in the choice of materials, the technique of pasting, and the application of colours and textiles.

The mechanism for manipulating the marionettes is a mixture of thread und stave manipulation, which was adjusted for every scene. Mostly, the marionette was manipulated by two persons, one controlling the body's movements from above by means of threads, the other being responsible for the movements of head, hands, or legs by means of staves, who is able for a more detailed portrayal of movements. The scene of the floating marionette was sometimes manipulated by four people using a pulley. In order to achieve the notion of lack of graviation, the floating items in the room were moved partly by using threads in case of the heavier or staves for the lighter props. Up to eight people were in charge simultanously to carry out these manipulations.
