Estratégias de Vôo
Inspirado na personagem Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren no filme de Hitchcock, “Os Pássaros” 1963) este projeto de América Cupello e Thomas Kaufmann apresente uma leitura singular da estória, especialmente dos ataques dos pássaros. Inventando um novo tipo de figurinos: tecido de algodão e penas, mesclados. Como parte de uma nova estratégia para discutir e abordar o medo, as penas expressam agora, a possibilidade de liberdade e a possibilidade de vôo.

Flight Strategies
This project was inspired by the character Melanie Daniels played by Tippi Hedren in Alfred Hitchcock’s film, “The Birds”, 1963. This presentation by America Cupello and Thomas Kaufmann takes a fresh look at the movies' premise, especially the attacks of the birds by inventing a new set of clothes: cotton and feathers together. As part of a new way of discussing and approaching fear, the feathers now express both the possibility of freedom and the possibility of flight.  

Flugstrategien
Inspiriert vom Charakter Melanie Daniels (dargestellt von Tippi Hedren in Alfred Hitchcocks Film „Die Vögel“, 1963) zeigt dieses Projekt von America Cupello und Thomas Kaufmann eine neue Sicht der Erzählung des Filmes. Im Speziellen der Angriff der Vögel ist mit einer neuen Kreation der Kleider, Baumwolle vermischt mit Federn, dargestellt. Als Teil eines neuen Zugangs zum diskutieren und der Angst entgegenzutreten, stellen die Federn jetzt die Möglichkeit der Freiheit und des Fluges dar.
