«Ambient Dub Rhythm of Life» is a common project of the Swiss visual artist TK (alias Thomas Kaufmann) and the Latvian ambient music composer Selffish (alias Andrew Eigus). The fall 2004 became an opening season to an active cooperation of the two artists inspired by the idea of sharing this truly valuable experience and drive of common creative effort. TK’s special video sets accompanied a number of Selffish’s live performances that have been lately presented to a tried Moscow (Russia) club audience, which proved to be responsive and welcoming the joint efforts of both artists. Selffish’s music, in its turn, alongside with the artist’s selection of thematic music samples as a sonic background contributed greatly to TK’s video shows presented in Switzerland, Berlin and Barcelona. Encouraged by the success of this mutually complementary practice, the two artists carry on uniting their individual projects in skilful manner. | ||
